SOR Big Hermet – Explosion Proof Temperature Switch
| The design of SOR’s explosion-proof Big Hermet temperature switch is based on the time-tested vapor-pressure thermal system. Process temperature changes cause proportional vapor pressure changes in the sensing bulb that act on the diaphragm/piston assembly to actuate/deactuate an electrical switching element. This versatile, adjustable pressure snap switch works in a wide variety of process media and industrial applications. These switches are hermetically sealed snap switches, ranges -60° to 1000°F (-51° to 540°C), set point adjustment with calibrated scale, set point adjustment without declassification of hazardous area with worldwide agency listings.
