Designed for safety and serviceability, the WDG-V is a flue gas analyzer designed to provide accurate measurements of oxygen (O2), combustibles (CO+H2) and methane (CH4) for process control and safety in combustion applications. Offering safe, reliable operation through continual diagnostic checks and proactive alarms, the analyzer provides an additional layer of safety in burner management systems in a versatile, completely field-serviceable solution designed for SIL-2. The WDG-V has a close-coupled extractive design, delivering fast responses in flue gases up to 1648°C (3000°F). Zirconium oxide measures oxygen and catalytic detectors measure combustibles and methane. An integral flow sensor assures sample system integrity. The WDG-V series is ideal for a wide range of markets, including cement and lime, hydrocarbon processing, metals and mining, pharmaceutical, and power and steam generation. WDG-HPII Series analyzers offer unique chimney-effect/convective sampling technology that combines the advantages of insitu probe high-particulate sampling with the high temperature and corrosion resistance of extractive analyzers. With a high-particulate filter and weatherproof sensor enclosure, the analyzer is ideal for measurements of O2, combustibles and methane, and is completely field serviceable. The WDG-HPII is designed to operate in conditions where particulate levels are high, and is suitable for flue gas temperatures up to 1537°C (2800°F). Zirconium oxide measures oxygen and catalytic detectors measure combustibles and methane. Completely field serviceable, the WDG Insitu is a direct-sensing oxygen (O2) probe suitable for applications where the flue gas temperature does not exceed 800°C (1472°F). With a range of different probe lengths offered, its unique inner/outer probe design enables the removal of cell, heater and thermocouple assembly through the probe head. The removable inner probe assembly exposes the reference side of the zirconium oxide cell to ambient air, eliminating the need for instrument air at the probe mounting. The outer support stays mounted to the process. Combining easy component access with reduced utility requirements, the WDG Insitu provides a cost-effective, reduced maintenance solution for fired boiler operations in the hydrocarbon processing, metals and mining and power and steam generation industries. Ametek Analyzers for Inert Gas Atmospheres
Analyzers for Inert Gas Atmospheres are used for PPM level oxygen measurement of inert blanketing gas atmospheres for coating, curing, and surface treatment processes. Available models include the TM2000 Oxygen Analyzer. The TM2000 protects industrial processes by quickly responding to changes using an industry-proven zirconium oxide sensor. It operates within a wide operating range of 0.1 ppm to 100% oxygen, and can accurately respond from atmosphere to low ppm oxygen levels in just seconds. In addition, the TM2000 can detect excess combustibles process upsets in the presence of very low ppm oxygen readings. This unique benefit is particularly important in cryogenic gas generating processes, where the TM2000 can distinguish between an oxygen upset condition and an excess combustibles upset condition. The TM2000 is supported by the state-of-the-art Series 2000 controller, with input and output electronic transient protection and a standard weatherproof housing.
