In-Line Multivariable Mass Vortex Flow Meter
The SIERRA Innova-Mass® Model 240 VTP can measure the mass flow rate of any gas or liquid and are ideally suited for saturated or superheated steam. Our multivariable Technology allows one instrument and one process connection to measure FIVE process parameters at the same time to simultaneously measure mass flow rate, temperature, pressure, volumetric flow rate, and fluid density. Insertion Multivariable Mass Flow Meter
The SIERRA Model 241 is a true workhorse in large pipe applications, high pressure applications and numerous geothermal steam applications. Our Model 241 provides a direct reading of mass flow rate from a single entry point in the process line and provides analog and digital outputs of five process variables: mass flow rate, volumetric flow rate, temperature, pressure, and fluid density. The unique insertion design has probe lengths from 2-inches up to 72-inches and can measure air up to 67000 scfm and saturated steam up to 330,000 pounds/hour. In addition, the instrument is available in a high-pressure version capable of mass flow measurement of gases up to 5000 psig. Dual-Plate Flow Conditioning Element
SIERRA’s Flow=Trak™ Dual-Plate Flow Conditioning Element represents an innovative and economical solution that allows any flow measurement instrument to maintain top performance in heavily constrained piping environments, where long-straight pipe runs simply do not exist. Flow=Trak effectively eliminates velocity profile distortions, swirl and temperature stratification in the gas stream. Flow=Trak creates a uniform velocity profile with Dual-Plate Technology that uses special geometry in the sizing and positioning of two stainless steel perforated plates.
